VAU relief valve

The VAU combines two cross-relief pressure valves in one body. It fits between the directional valve and the hydraulic motor (or cylinder) and limits the pressure in each line, each with its own setting. In practice it is an anti-shock valve: it cuts the peaks that appear when the movement is braked or reversed suddenly.

V1 and V2 connect to the supply and the other two ports, also V1 and V2, to the actuator. Marchesini recommends fitting it as close as possible to the motor or cylinder, to reduce pressure losses and get a faster response.

• Zinc-plated steel body; internal parts in hardened and ground steel
• NBR (Buna N) seals
• Guided poppet, with negligible leakage
• Springs for 10-50, 20-100, 10-180 (standard), 50-250 and 80-300 bar

On request it can be supplied with a handwheel, ready for sealing or already sealed at a set pressure.
