Danfoss orbital motors are internal gear (gerotor) motors: they give high torque at low speed, often without needing a gearbox.

The OMM is the smallest, for low power: up to 1,950 rpm in size 8 and about 3 kW of power.

  • Displacements: 8 to 50 cm³/rev (in the shop: 8, 20 and 32)
  • Pressure: up to 100 bar continuous, 140 bar intermittent and 225 bar peak at the inlet
  • Flow: up to 16-20 l/min continuous
  • Torque: 11 to 46 Nm continuous, depending on size

The list has versions with cylindrical shaft and with side or rear ports; the Danfoss code of each one is in brackets.
