Single-axis electronic joystick with two PWM outputs and a friction-held lever, to drive one proportional section.
The MAP2 is a single-axis electronic finger joystick that drives the two coils of one section of a proportional directional valve directly. It reads the position with redundant Hall-effect sensors, with no contact and therefore no wear. This version has friction: the lever stays where you leave it and does not return to centre on its own.
The coil current is closed-loop controlled and does not change with battery voltage or coil heating. It comes set up for a generic 24 V proportional valve (250 mA minimum, 850 mA maximum, ramps at zero), but everything can be changed: minimum and maximum current in each direction, ramps up to 25 s, PWM frequency between 50 and 300 Hz and a linear or parabolic curve.
Setup is done on a computer, with the SepSim software and the AISR adapter, sold separately.
