SAIP WA series hydropneumatic accumulator, with a welded, almost spherical body and the diaphragm fixed inside. Because it is welded it cannot be opened or repaired: the diaphragm is not replaceable and, at the end of its life, the whole accumulator is changed.

It is used to store hydraulic energy, stabilise pressure and dampen pulsations on industrial machines, mobile equipment and power units. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
