The French series uses a metric thread and a 24° cone like DIN, but the threads do not correspond to the same tube sizes. A metric DIN female may not fit a French male that looks the same. Measure the thread with a caliper and compare with the old fitting before choosing; for other metric fittings, see Metric DIN.
