Technical guide: How to choose a hydraulic hose

Crimp ferrule for EN 853 1SN (SAE 100 R1AT) and 2SN (SAE 100 R2AT) wire braid hoses, and also EN 857 2SC and SAE 100 R16S. Equivalent references: VOSS PF22 and Danfoss Tieffe BXT2 (CX series). It is crimped without skiving the hose.

Sizes: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1.1/4", 1.1/2" and 2", by the hose bore.

Choose the same size as the hose and the fitting, from the same brand as the ferrule, and crimp to the diameter in the manufacturer's crimping table.

Reference brand: Danfoss. Equivalent VOSS, depending on stock.
