Technical guide: How to choose a hydraulic hose

Crimp ferrule for EN 855 R7 (SAE 100 R7) thermoplastic hoses, and also SAE 100 R6 and R8. Equivalent references: VOSS PF23 and Danfoss Tieffe BX7 (CX series). It is crimped without skiving the hose.

Sizes: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1", by the hose bore.

Choose the same size as the hose and the fitting, from the same brand as the ferrule, and crimp to the diameter in the manufacturer's crimping table.

Reference brand: Danfoss. Equivalent VOSS or Vitillo, depending on stock.
