Technical guide: How to choose a hydraulic hose

Crimp ferrule for EN 853 1SN wire braid hoses and EN 857 1SC and 2SC compact hoses, SAE 100 R16S and R17. Equivalent references: VOSS PF24 and Danfoss Tieffe BNK (CX series). It is crimped without skiving the hose.

Sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1", by the hose bore.

Choose the same size as the hose and the fitting, from the same brand as the ferrule, and crimp to the diameter in the manufacturer's crimping table.
