Technical guide: How to choose a hydraulic hose

Crimp ferrule Interlock for EN 856 4SP and 4SH, SAE 100 R13 and R15 high-pressure spiral hoses (BHH, 4 spirals) and 6-spiral SAE 100 R13 and R15 (BH13). Equivalent references: VOSS MPF3/MPF4 and Danfoss Tieffe BHH/BH13 (CH series). The hose must be skived inside and outside so that the ferrule grips the steel spirals directly.

Sizes: MPF3 / BHH from 3/4" to 2" and MPF4 / BH13 from 1.1/4" to 2", by the hose bore.

Choose the same size as the hose and the fitting, from the same brand as the ferrule, and crimp to the diameter in the manufacturer's crimping table.

Reference brand: VOSS. Equivalent Danfoss, depending on stock.
