Technical guide: How to choose a hydraulic hose

Crimp ferrule for SAE 100 R1 single wire braid hydraulic hoses. It fits over the end of the hose, together with the hose fitting, and is crimped on the crimping machine.

Sizes: 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1.1/4", 1.1/2" and 2", by the hose bore.

Choose the same size as the hose and the fitting. Check in the fitting manufacturer's table whether the hose needs skiving and what the crimp diameter is.
