Technical guide: SAE flanges 3000 and 6000 (code 61 and 62): how to identify and measure them

Crimp hose fitting with a 45° SAE 6000 psi flange head (code 62, ISO 6162-2), from the VOSS Interlock series. The flange is clamped against the pump, motor or manifold with two split flanges and four bolts, and seals with an O-ring on the face. In the Interlock series the ferrule locks mechanically onto the fitting body; it is the series for spiral hoses (4SP, 4SH, R13 and R15).

  • Flanges: 3/4", 1", 1.1/4", 1.1/2" and 2"
  • Hose: from 3/4" to 2" inside diameter

In each option, the first value is the flange and the second the hose. Check the series (3000 or 6000 psi) on the pump or manifold, as the flanges are not interchangeable. Crimp with the specified Interlock ferrule, to the manufacturer's chart.
