EWM-ST-AA/20M2 positioning card (4-20 mA output)

The EWM-ST-AA is a Duplomatic analogue card for closed-loop position control of a hydraulic actuator: it compares the requested position with the one read by the sensor and corrects until it gets there, with an accuracy of about 0.01% of the sensor stroke. It was designed with steam turbine control in mind.

This is the E1 version, without power amplifier: the output is a 4-20 mA signal, for a valve with its own electronics or another amplifier.

• Command and feedback: 4-20 mA or 0-10 V
• Speed limited by software or by analogue input
• Detects broken cable on sensor and command; two digital status outputs
• Supply: 12 to 30 V DC; consumption below 100 mA
• DIN EN 50022 rail, PA6.6 case of 120 × 99 × 46 mm, IP20
• Setup by software only, through the card's USB-B port
