EWM-ST-AA/20M2 positioning card

The EWM-ST-AA is a Duplomatic analogue card for closed-loop position control of a hydraulic actuator: it compares the requested position with the one read by the sensor and drives the proportional valve until it gets there, with an accuracy of about 0.01% of the sensor stroke. It was designed with steam turbine control in mind, with dedicated functions for it.

This is the M2 version, with built-in power amplifier: it drives the valve solenoids directly, between 500 and 2,600 mA, and monitors them.

• Command and feedback: 4-20 mA or 0-10 V
• Speed limited by software or by analogue input
• Detects broken cable on sensor and command; two digital status outputs
• Supply: 12 to 30 V DC
• DIN EN 50022 rail, PA6.6 case of 120 × 99 × 46 mm, IP20
• Setup by software only, through the card's USB-B port
