Argo Hytos SMT-BP3-R forming reamer for machining the CAV 10-3S cavity (7/8-14 UNF, 3-way) for cartridge valves.
Argo Hytos SMT-BP3-R tool for machining the CAV 10-3S cavity, also called C-10-3S or BP3 by Argo Hytos, in manifold blocks and valve bodies: a three-way cavity with 7/8-14 UNF thread, which takes cartridge valves such as sequence valves, counterbalance valves and others of this size.
The tool forms the cavity diameters and steps in one go, so that the cartridge seats and seals as the manufacturer intends. There is also the SMT-BP3-D forming drill for the same cavity.
In the Argo Hytos data sheets for BP3 valves, the SMT-BP3 tools are listed under cavity details. Before ordering, check the cavity of the valve you will fit (CAV 10-3S).
