Semi-compact polyurethane rod seal that seals well from low pressure up to 400 bar.
The TTS is a rod seal with a semi-compact profile. Because it is fuller than a normal U-seal, it reacts less to pressure changes and keeps sealing well when the pressure is low, without losing anything at high pressure.
It is made of a polyurethane with good wear and extrusion resistance, and fits without special tools, as long as the housing has rounded chamfers with no burrs.

- Temperature: from -40 °C to +100 °C
- Rod surface finish: Ra ≤ 0.3 µm
The clearance on the unpressurised side must get smaller as the pressure goes up: 0.40 mm at 200 bar, 0.17 mm at 400 bar. In the Aston Seal datasheet this profile is called S.
