GA metal case wipers

The GA is a rod wiper with the wiping lip held in a metal case. It is press-fitted into the housing in the cylinder head, with no groove, and the metal case holds it firmly in place, which matters on cylinders that work in dust and mud.

The lip cleans the rod as it retracts and keeps dirt out of the cylinder, which spares the rod seal and the guides and prevents scoring on the rod.

Sizes are in the list, from a 10 mm rod upwards, given as rod × outside diameter × height. Fit it with a flat drift so the case goes in straight and is not distorted. Before ordering, measure the rod, the housing diameter and the available height, or read the size on the wiper you are replacing.
