KTR's BOWEX-ELASTIC is a highly flexible flange coupling for connecting hydraulic pumps to diesel engines: an annular natural rubber element, bolted to the flywheel by an SAE J620 flange, takes a standard BOWEX hub plugged in axially. It damps torsional vibration and shocks from the engine. KTR makes it in 40, 50 and 65 Shore A.

The list has elements and flanges for sizes 48 and 100, for the HE1/HE2, HE3/HE4 and HEW versions, with 6.5", 7.5", 10" and 14" flywheels. As a reference, size 48 in 50 Shore A transmits 230 Nm rated torque and size 100 in 50 Shore A transmits 2500 Nm.

There is also a MONOLASTIC 28 coupling in 65 Shore A: a single rubber part with a steel hub with an SAE 16/32 DP 13-tooth internal spline (PB-S), into which the pump plugs directly.

Check the size, the version (HE1 to HE4 or HEW), the hardness and the flywheel diameter before ordering.
