Tognella single-acting pilot-operated check valve, FT 257/7 series, for in-line mounting. It lets oil flow freely in one direction and only lets it back when pressure is applied to the pilot port. This holds a cylinder in position without relying on the tightness of the directional valve.

There are five sizes, by the thread of the main ports: G 1/4", G 3/8", G 1/2", G 3/4" and G 1".
