FOI spring-energised seals

FOI type spring-energised seals: a PTFE profile with a metal spring inside, which keeps the lip against the surface even at low pressure or with no pressure. PTFE has low friction and withstands temperatures and fluids where rubber does not last, so these seals are used on rods and shafts of hydraulic equipment where a standard seal wears out quickly.

The options include metric sizes from 25x31.2x4.8 to 80x105x7 (inside diameter x outside diameter x height, in mm) and one inch size, 34.92x57.15x9.3.

Before ordering, measure the housing and the shaft, or read the size of the old seal, and check whether the seal works on a rod or on a rotating shaft.
