M+S PR series priority valve, which gives flow priority to the HKUS.../5 hydrostatic steering unit. From 80 to 160 l/min, with static or dynamic LS signal.
The priority valve sits between the pump and the rest of the circuit: it keeps for the hydrostatic steering the flow it asks for through the LS signal and only sends the remainder (EF port) to the other consumers. M+S makes it to work with the HKUS.../5 steering units.
- PRD: modular mounting, bolted directly to the steering unit
- PRT and PRTA: in-line mounting, with pipe or hose
- Second letter D: dynamic signal (for .../5D or 5DT steering units); E: static signal with external pilot; no letter: static signal
- The number is the rated flow (80, 120 or 160 l/min) and the next one the control spring pressure (7 or 10 bar)
With a static signal, M+S asks for the LS line between valve and steering unit to be as short as possible, up to 1.5 m of steel pipe with 4 mm inside diameter. Check the signal type of the steering unit before choosing the valve.
