3-way, 2-position valve, normally open, operated by air with pneumatic-mechanical return (VP 1/8" 22 3 PN PM NO P in the Aircomp catalogue). At rest, the supply passes to the outlet; with a pilot signal, the valve closes the inlet and exhausts the outlet. It is used when the outlet must be pressurised while there is no signal, for example to keep a single-acting cylinder extended or to invert a signal.
