Shipping costs

The GS spider is the elastic element of the ROTEX GS, the backlash-free version of KTR's ROTEX coupling, fitted with clamping ring hubs. The spider teeth are straight and fit with preload between the jaws of the two hubs: the coupling transmits the torque without backlash and still damps vibration.

The list has GS spiders in sizes 19, 24, 28 and 38: in 98 Shore A (sizes 28 and 38), in 64 Shore D (size 24) and in 64 Shore D Hytrel (19, 24, 28 and 38). The harder the spider, the more torque it transmits and the less it twists. As a reference, the KTR datasheet gives 160 Nm rated torque for the 98 Shore A spider in size 28 and 325 Nm in size 38.

Choose the same size as the hubs and the same hardness as the spider you are replacing.
