NEM cartridge counterbalance valves, to screw into a manifold with a 3-way cavity. They hold the load on a cylinder or motor, only let it come down when there is pilot pressure, and limit the pressure in case of shocks.

The list has non-compensated versions (pilot ratio 3.5:1, 5:1 or 8:1), fully compensated ones and relief-compensated ones, with 80-210, 180-350 and 230-410 bar springs.

0613 series, SAE 10 cartridge (7/8-14 UNF, 10-3S cavity): up to 70 l/min and 350 bar; torque 50 to 55 Nm; 0.3 kg
0614 series, SAE 12 cartridge (1 1/16-12 UN, 12-3S cavity): up to 100 l/min and 410 bar; torque 60 Nm; 0.7 kg

For the setting, NEM recommends 1.3 times the maximum pressure caused by the load. On non-compensated valves, back pressure at the outlet affects the setting; in circuits with back pressure, choose a compensated version.
