DIN cutting ring

Cutting ring for DIN 2353 tube connections, now ISO 8434-1, with a 24° cone. It sits on the tube between the nut and the fitting body: as the nut is tightened, the edge of the ring bites into the tube wall and seals against the cone.

• Series LL (4 and 6 mm), L (6 to 42 mm) and S (6 to 38 mm)
• From 6 to 12 mm the ring is the same for the L and S series
• Nominal pressure in the VOSS datasheet: L series 500 bar up to 10 mm, 400 bar from 12 to 18 mm and 250 bar from 22 to 42 mm; S series 800 bar up to 10 mm, 630 bar from 12 to 16 mm and 420 bar from 20 to 38 mm; LL series 100 bar

Choose by the tube outside diameter and the series. Once tightened, the ring stays set on the tube and cannot be moved to another tube; for a repair, cut the tube end back and fit a new ring.
